Last Thursday, May 7th, we were joined by over 300 partners, supporters, and friends at Gotham Hall in New York City to celebrate our first-ever Gala for Child Protection. It truly was an inspiring evening!
CBS This Morning's Norah O'Donnell emceed the night's festivities; Microsoft Corporation received the first Global Impact for Child Protection Award; Jeff and Justine Koons were presented with the first Champion for Children Award; 14-year-old pop and opera singer Sara Stevens wowed the crowd with an incredible performance, including her rendition of the classic song Somewhere Over the Rainbow; and Ashton Kutcher closed the evening with an impassioned presentation.
Below are some select images from this memorable evening. If you would like to see additional photographs from the event, please visit www.ICMECgala.org.
We are very grateful for your support of our organization and our mission. We look forward to seeing you at future ICMEC events.
With deep appreciation,Ambassador Maura Harty, ret.President & CEO
